Our History

In 1967, the Lord led Founder Dr. Hernán Cortés and his wife Ann L. Cortés to Levittown as missionaries to the island of Puerto Rico. They planned to stay in Levittown for 2 weeks but the Lord had other plans for them.
The Colegio Bautista was founded in 1973 as a ministry of the Primera Iglesia Bautista de Levittown. A member of our church, Hna. Iris Durand, suggested to the pastor that we should use the Sunday school classrooms used on Sundays to start a Kinder during the week. Sure enough the Lord began to bless and God provided a 1st Grade Teacher for the next year. Little by little the Lord provided the right people for our school. Today our school provides a Christian education for students from Pre-Kinder till 12th Grade. Our core curriculum used is abeka and all classes are given in English with a few exceptions like Spanish clases. We give God all the honor and glory for all he has done.
